Summer Slaughter has showcased some of the best modern metal since its annual jaunt across the planet in 2007. Just one of SS’s stand out performances of 2013 has to be Periphery. Their formula of fun mathcore is an inkling of where metal is headed. Our Random Fandom entry is of BandHappy.com founder, drummer Matt Halpern. We were forewarned of his intricacies on the drums.
